Perry's first opened as a DX station in down town Des Moines in 1968. In 1969 we moved to our current location as a Skelly service station. Since then we have been a Getty and Texaco station before becoming a privately operated facility. Since our founding in 1968 we have remained a single family owned company now ran by the grandchildren of the founder. Today we are one of the oldest and largest towing fleets in the Des Moines metro area and are one of the last surviving independent gas station. In February of 2025 Perry's acquired the former Casa Car Wash located at 2101 University Ave, just one block away from our main office and added a self serve car wash to our business offerings.
