Perry's is currently accepting applications for a full time towing and recovery operator. 

We are accepting applications for a full time flatbed tow truck operator. This will be a Monday-Friday day shift position with 2 working Saturdays per month. This position will primarily be a local haul driver responding to tows in the Des Moines metro area with occasional travel around the state. Responsibilities will include transporting vehicles, hauling doubles, accident clean up, jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, and basic recovery skills. When not towing vehicles candidates will be expected to be at the shop helping with mechanical repairs or other responsibilities as assigned. Qualified candidates should have a good working knowledge of the metro area and the ability to work and analyze situations to determine the best course of action.  This will be a salaried position, not commission based. 

Must possess at a minimum a Class D2 license. 

Minimum of 21 years of age. 

Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as random drug tests throughout duration of employment. 

Must have a clean driving record.

Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work regardless of weather conditions. 

Must have basic knowledge of vehicle operation and repairs.

Prior towing experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
